Born outside the time (on a leap day, February 29, 1988). Thinking outside the box. Ukrainian through and through. Currently living in France. But would love to have a global citizen passport one day. Speak four languages. All with a Ukrainian accent. An ideator. I breathe in inspiration and breathe out ideas. I’ve been imagining and writing stories about nature since I remember myself, i.e. around four years old, when half of my handwritten letters were upside down. Hope to save the world, but then again, who doesn’t?
“EarthDome” is a short story set a few years in the future, halfway between nowadays and the tipping point year. It follows a temporal archaeologist who tries to pinpoint the exact moment of a perfect equilibrium between the human world and the natural one, and a regenerativist’s journey through time attempting to locate the most crucial endangered species whose disappearance in the near future will cause a cascading change of the 6th mass extinction. This quest is facilitated by a revolutionary AI-powered technology that allows people to have virtual trips down (and up) the Earth’s memory lane. All for the sake of building a better and brighter future for everyone on this planet.
