In 2025, we began working with the inaugural cohort of the Exploration Co-Lab: a group of bold systems innovators redefining how we live, work, and coexist with nature. The programme was designed as a two-fold support system, offering deep allyship to help innovators navigate entrenched systemic barriers and build resilience, alongside resources to refine, test, and scale regenerative solutions that address root causes and create lasting impact.
These innovators worked at the frontiers of systems change, each addressing complex challenges with creativity, care, and a strong sense of purpose. Their initiatives spanned fields including ecological restoration, Indigenous knowledge and storytelling, planetary security, dark sky conservation, and empathy-led technologies.
The cohort was geographically diverse in both people and ideas, bringing perspectives from different regions and contexts that enriched the programme and encouraged the cross-pollination of ideas.
